The Tristar Viper G2 semi-automatic shotgun is a highly versatile hunting weapon. It is as capable at hunting doves I the field as it is for upland game birds. It is also the ideal gun for your duck blind.

The G2 features a chrome-lined barrel and a 3″ chamber that can easily handle both 2-3/4″ and 3″ shells. The weapon comes with three Benelli-style choke tubes that include Modified, Full, and Improved Cylinder chokes.

These multiple chokes further enhance the Viper G2’s out-of-the-box versatility without any extra charges. The synthetic stock is available in Realtree Advantage Timber soft touch camo finish that is not easy to spot ,even for sharp-eyed game birds.

These great guns are imported by Tristar from Turkey and function flawlessly in the field. The gas-operated G2 has a checkered grip to ensure optimum control of the weapon even in wet and icy conditions. It works flawlessly with heavy and light loads and balances perfectly at the junction of the barrel and the receiver.

The length of pull of the weapon clocks in at around 14½ inches. The drop at the comb is 1½ and 2½ inches for the heel. The stock comes equipped with a 7/8-inch thick ventilated recoil pad that helps decrease the recoil of even full-power 3-inch loads.

The shotgun has a ventilated rib running down the length of its barrel, while the tip of the barrel features a bright red fiber-optic front sight in lieu of a regular brass bead. This front sight is highly visible in bright sunlight as well as low light conditions.

The trigger pull clocks in at a firm 7.6 pounds to eliminate the chance of an accidental discharge. The G2 is also equipped with a cross-bolt manual safety button that is intuitively located on the trigger guard right behind the trigger. This way the operator can switch off the safety prior to squeezing the trigger.

The weapon’s trigger unit can be removed for cleaning very easily since it is attached with just a single pin. The bolt release button is also within easy reach right behind the ejection port.

The Viper G2 features what Tristar calls a “Manual E-Z load Mag Cut-Off.” This is a very handy feature that enables the operator to unload the chamber of the weapon without disturbing the loads in the 5-shell capacity magazine.

The barrel and the receiver are chrome lined so there is no need to worry about cleaning your shotgun as soon as you are done shooting.
